Can this be caused by breeding too young? I have a mixed breed doe that freshened at 13 months old. (Last year) She has just gotten cow-hockier and cow-hockier.

Well, I know I should bolus but I haven't. This little doe had wobbly legs at birth. Her mom had bad cow hocks too. Came from a place that only fed grass hay and sheep and goat pellets. no extra minerals. And when I got the mom she was 18 months old and had already had 2 kids.
It sounds like bad conformation, really when your does freshen the udder should make the doe look less hocky. This of course is still something I would cull for and not hope that her mammary will appear to help it. I still would give a copper bolus.
