copper may be your prolem also but also just the confirmation may not be good. Do you copper bolus?? if not you should.

 

Well, I know I should bolus but I haven't. This little doe had wobbly legs at birth. Her mom had bad cow hocks too. Came from a place that only fed grass hay and sheep and goat pellets. no extra minerals. And when I got the mom she was 18 months old and had already had 2 kids.

This is probably more genetic than anything. But do give the copper bolus - it helps with lots of things.

It sounds like bad conformation, really when your does freshen the udder should make the doe look less hocky. This of course is still something I would cull for and not hope that her mammary will appear to help it. I still would give a copper bolus.
