With show time coming up I need to invest in some good clippers. I'll use them primarily for show clipping my Boers but also for the Nubians. So tell me what's the very best and will last the longest from your experience? Also what different blades will I need? Thanks!

I have the Andis Super AGC 2 speed. Works great. Wahl Stable Pro is a good one too. These are medium duty, you could go heavier duty but I like how lightweight mine is. Doing a dairy show clip on 4-5 goats in a row...you know what I mean. A #10 blade for body clipping and #40 for udders works best for me.

You could use a #10 blade but it's on the short side. I think groomers usually use #7, etc blades on dogs....but I'm no expert on dog grooming.

Well I ordered the Andis Super Duty 2 speed. Probably will get something heavier duty in the future, but hopefully this will do the job for now. Thanks!
