Last Saturday I had my Nubian doe kid for the first time and to my surprise she had twins! North was normal with both of them and they latched normal as well. I noticed that her utter went from being huge to half the size by middle of this past week. Today I noticed that my doe tries to kick the kids off when she is eating but will eventually let them eat. I have mom on grain twice a day, alpha hay and normal as well letting her eat as much as she wants. Is there something else to add to increase milk production? I’m worried that the kids are not getting enough milk and will need to be on milk replacement. Would it be possible to keep the kids with mom during the day and give them a bottle twice a day? Any advice helps!

It is normal for lots of does to kick kids away. And let them feed only when they want to.. Could I see a pic of her udder? Another way to tell if they are getting enough milk is to feel the babies sides. It should feel firm. Not sunken in or poochy(rounded)..

Weigh the babies every day, even twice a day at the same times, to see if they are gaining weight. If you are not weighing them, then you have no idea if they are getting enough

Moms kick the babies off to prevent Floppy Kid Syndrome, this is normal.
