I have a FF who is 5 days fresh, first 24hrs she had quite a bit of edema and I noticed one side was more "lumpy" feeling. That has passed and milk and udder are normal but one side is producing a LOT more milk and making her extremely uneven. Her pretty udder looks ridiculous. The medial is skewed because of the difference. The smaller side is nice and pliable and milks down good, but empties in about half the time as the other. I can send in a milk sample tomorrow, but I'm wondering if I should do something in the mean time. I'm so mad as her udder is really nice and we are doing appraisals this year in June, so if I can fix it... :help I wanted to add that prior to kidding her udder was large, full and symmetrical.
