For some reason my mind and notes are blank on this! I have always given a tetanus antitoxin when disbudding, castrating (banding) the kids. I keep finding contradictory information. When castrating, disbudding, or in our case banding tails on lambs, how much tetanus anti-toxin do I give? I have seen 150-200 units (bottle reads contents of 1500 units) but I don't know how to measure that into cc. Sue Reith said to give 1/2cc to newborns. Hoeggers says 2 1/2 cc for disbudding, catrating. So, what dose DO I give?
