I have found a stainless steel cake pan. It measures 14 L x 10 w x 2 depth. Which I hope is about the same size as a Martha Mold.

I figured volume using a formula of v= lxh xd 14x10=140 then 140 x 2 = 280 so that is volume in inches cubed. But that got me know where! I promise I am NOT a math wizard. Just trying to figure out how much this pan will hold.

I also went to Summer Bee Meadow and but in the Wal-Mart recipe and re-sized the recipe, and the only difference is that this mold will hold about less than a half ounce more oils

    Wal-Mart recipe is 7 lbs 1.39oz

re-sized recipe is 7 1.41 oz also a smidgen' more water and lye.

How many bars at what size do you get with the MM ?
    Thanks Amanda Lee

if I remember right you get 21 bars out of a MM mold that are at least 6 oz ea with your pan I would just make the WW recipe and pour what ever extra into something else for now until you see exactly what you want to make. then just cut your lard or something and recalculate so you know how much lye to use.

Hey Sondra, when using the Martha Mold, do you fill up all three sections or just the outside two???

Not Sondra, but I use all three. No reason to leave one empty. :)
