I have a 18 mos. old doe who has a snotty nose. Last night I gave them their first dose of C&D/T and some nutri drench. Could this be a side affect of the immunizations?

Only if she aspirated some of the Nutra Drench into her lung. Have you tasted that stuff, it's nothing more than propolyne glycol with some viatmins and minerals in it. In fact you have to feed and ounce of it just to get to the recommended amount of E for a goat for one day. Vicki

I wouldn't think so. It's never happened here. Sore yes, but snot, no.
Has your weather taken a turn? Been shown?
Some of my babies were snorting this morning..but, I atributed it to our drastic drop in temps...and several days of rain in a row. Not doing anything, as they are still eating like a pen of hogs.

So is the nutridrench bad? No, no changes at all....I wish we had days of rain, we are in a severe, severe drought situation in our neck of the woods. We just got these two goats recently....she is acting fine and eating well so I guess sometimes they just get snotty.

It's not bad, just not worth giving :) Vicki
