    FF kidded this morning...

Ligs were *softening* last night... but no labor signs and not *gone*...

I was hit with a bad migraine during the night so dh let the kids sleep in some since he was staying home a bit.

So they headed out to milk and found 2 kids... buck that was VERY chilled... and a healthy doeling.

buckling is doing better, standing & eating... but TINY!!

The doeling is 3# and the buckling 1lb 12oz

Looks like 2 more going to kid SOON... so full baby alert.

Yes, post a picture. I've never seen a kid that tiny...unless you count the aborted one I saw a couple of years ago.

Last year my pygmy doe birthed twins that were that tiny.. One made it and the one she rejected who we bottle fed at death only weighed 4.5lbs and that was at 10days old.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. He is so tiny, but perfect! (So they DO come in smaller sizes!)

I doubt it both have great appetites and even the boy went straight on a lambar nipple.

He's precious. Just be sure to tell your friend to be careful putting him in with bigger kids. I had a wee one like that get suffocated by bigger kids in a baby pile.

Very adorable! I would think that bsides the potential for being suffocated, that the tiny kid may have difficulties maintaining proper body temp, whether warm or cold because of it's small body mass.

Well Connie is a *softie*... which is why she is taking my boys. I imagine he'll be a house goat for a bit, but I do have to say he is doing great after his cold start. He has been doing great on temps just in a tote with his sister... drinks no problem... and can be LOUD. LOL

So far he has needed no special care beyond the first 30-60min.
