rooting hormone

    anyone have a favorite rooting hormone. I have always used the powdered kind from our local feed and seed. Just trying to improve for this season. I will be air layering for the first time this season and was thinking of trying a liquid.

    I also just use the powdered type from my feed store ,however this year I just stuck my fig and grape cuttings in the dirt without any root powder and have kept them moist. I will see if the sprout, however my winter is milder and no snow.

    You can put figs in sand and they will root. I did that last year.
