Hi all! Early last year I got 3 goats from a friend who decided to switch to cows instead. I received a doe and 2 wethers. The seller gave me all the registration information that she got from the breeder, but never actually registered the doe.

As I would like to breed her this fall, I wanted to get her registered. Will this be possible if she is now 3 years old and was never registered? Will I need the original owner to file the registry then transfer? I'm just a little confused on how it works, and the paperwork looks strange. It seems like some of it isn't filled out?

Sorry, I'm new to the world of registries and have a bad first shot. The past owner didn't understand it at all.

You need to get your friend to register and transfer the animals into to her name. Then she can fill out the transfer block to you and you can get them into your
    name.
