The regular BOSS at our feed store has gone through the roof. This wek they are having a sale on a product that is 80% BOSS and 20% a mixture of millet, cracked corn and calcium chlorid. This feed is intended for wild birds. Is it safe for goats? Kathie

I just did some checking on that myself and came to the conclusion it is ok if is don't kill a bird it isn't going to kill a goat. millet is good I use cracked corn anyway and the calcium chlorid shouldn't hurt . Especially since this isn't their soul sorce of feed.

Kathie, I agree with Sondra. Sounds fine to me. I'd use it.

Our feed store is selling 50# for 29.95. YIKES!!
