I have an Alpine doe that is healthy no signs of anything icky, she is not bred. I was going to breed her in the fall. My question is, One side of her udder is full, not full like with milk or anything, maybe swollen, not a good work either. The actual teat is normal it's the bag on one side that is big. Nothing is coming out if it, no warmth or anything. Is this mastitis? She is eating well, goat poops are fine, happy healthy and romping in the field, first to the gate and all that. Should I start her on Penicillin or do something else? I've never had a case of mastitis here so i'm not sure, any help would be great!!

She was 2 on March 6th. We didn't have a buck or access to one to breed her any sooner, but if all is ok then this will be her first year. :help

Sounds like you could have problems.

    I would infuse with Pirsue.

OK, how do I go about doing that? And where can I get it? TSC? or Feed store?

Pirsue is a prescription from your vet.

Follow sterile infusion tecniques and infuse into her udder.
