I seem to have a never ending issue with these guys.
I just read on the HT that "neither are of any consequence to older goats" (Vicki quote) and I'm wondering why.
They really really gross me out when I see them squirming out of a does behind and I just want to get rid of them.
I usually worm with Cydectin, although this year I wormed with Ivermec (mites), fecals were clean afterwards. Do I need to use Valbazen or should I just not bother with it.
    TIA

They can make your doe irritate her vulva with the itching sh does from pinworms, but no they are of little consequence and usually are from having dog poop around. Just like with our children they crawl from one butt to the next when the goats are sleeping. So treat them all.

I do use Valbazen as my 10 days after kidding wormer so I don't go to shows with tapes (somehow you are just such a bad owner if you can see tapes at a show!), since I have never had pin worms it's either the Valbazen or the cydectin that kills it. Eww, making me itch! Vicki
