Today while a doe was resting, I could hear her breathing as her nose was stopped up and making a funny whistling noise when she breathed . Could this be nose bots ? could it be a pellet up her nose ? I didn't check her or look at it as she is not friendly and has horns Boer . We have a terrible fly problem this year .

Most of our bucks make noise when breathing out of their very roman noses, and most of my girls have buggers of some form or another all the time, they have good heads :) Nose bots are brown ares of raised crusts around the outside edges of goats noses in the south. I think it's the eggs, which hatch from the moisture. The does scrub them off with their rear feet and can get them around their dewclaws and between their toes also.

Ivermectin 1cc per 100 pounds given subq will get rid of them. Vicki
