Lactated ringers

    I just got my new Hoeggers catalog today. It now sells lactated ringers. The stuff they have for sale contains 5% dextrose. Is that the kind you folks use? If so I'll order some. It's the first time I've seen any for sale anywhere.

    hmmm? I don't think it is the same as what I get from the vet.

    LACTATED RINGERS INJECTION

    Contains 600 mg sodium chloride, 310 mg sodium lactate anhydrous, 20 mg calcium chloride dihydrate and 30 mg potassium chloride per 100 ml.
