Hi I got home at lunch, around 11:45, went to check on girls, my FF with the crazy hormones a week ago was in corner pushing!!! By 12:25, she had our 1st doe of the season. So pleased. The rest are looking at me like, just wait, that one was easy. I wish all came during my lunch, not at night. I was so excited, sent text pic's to all friends, had to tell you also! Good luck to the rest of you. Deb :biggrin
How exciting! And a doeling too! Congratulations! Last year seemed like a buck year for many, myself included although I only had the one kid. LOL Perhaps this year will be a doeling year! I sure hope so!
Congratulations! I was having a feeling it was going to be the year of the doe this year... Atleast I am really hoping it will be
Congrats!! Last year was a major doeling year for me....I almost wish for 50% or less doelings as I can't keep them all and can't seem to sell them for what they're worth....well I don't mind a buck year as long as the right does have 1 doeling a piece .
So far I am having a doeling year too - 2 out of 2! LOL! Still have 5 more to go And yes...pics would be good Kelly
Remember Amy to give them the bulk of their hay, when you get home from school, and not in the morning! : ) Except those ff, do them in reverse as they take longer to pop! Sherrie
Or have exact breeding dates and induce for AM deliveries. Works like a charm. I NEVER have evening or nighttime kiddings and I am always there when the does freshen. Sara
Well if the girls dont kid if feb. i'll have exact due dates on them. March 12th, last possible due date cuz they weren't with or near the bucks after that... I saw them get bred for that due date to. I'm very tempted to induce. Already got the dex, just need the lutalyse.
