In the Goatkeeping 101 section under Management from Birth till Kidding Vicki says "At 100 days bred use Ivermectin Plus 1 cc per 30 lbs orally (this is for liver Flukes, lungworm, 4th stage HC.)" My girls (I think both of them are pregnant now) are 100 days now but the feed store only carries the Ivomec Plus in injectable form. Is that still okay to use? If so how much? It says withdrawal time in milk has not been established on the box. I'm a bit leary to use it.

    Thanks,
    Tiffany

Yes, you give it orally at 1cc/30#. Reason for orally....it burns like fire when injected. Now, if you had a choice of taking a drug orally with no pain or a shot that knocks you to your knees...which would you choose? It's also been proven that it is just as effective orally, as injected.

By the time your does kid...there will be NO residue from the ivomectin or flukecide...so, no worry there.
