Cl puss is usually thick consistency and it is odorless. I have a doe with cl. We jus drain her abscess put her in quarantine and then after we are certain she is cleared she goes back with the herd. All the big sheep and goat farmers around us all have cl in their herd and they all say it isn't that big of a deal.
