I need to put some ointment on a cut on one of my goats hind legs. The label states not for meat or dairy animals. She is currently not in milk. If its not good for goats, what would be the best replacement?

I wouldn't use it since it's not for use in food animals. I usually just spritz some colloidal silver on stuff like that. Iodine would be fine.

My vet gave me a bottle if this stuff for my goat after she had a rough kidding. She was fine and we drank her milk which the vet knew we was doing but never mentioned it not being for dairy animals! Oh well we lived!

I wouldn't hesitate to use it especially since she in not in milk or freshening soon. I like Vetericyn® HydroGel Wound and Skin Care or the spray for things like this. Amazing stuff!

I've been using the furacin based ointments for years with no problems.
