I just called my homeowner's insurance to find out how selling soap would affect my homeowner's policy. For an extra $6 a year, I am now covered for making soap in the house and having customers come to the house to buy soap. My policy is with Liberty Mutual. I have up to $2500 coverage for damages to business equipment/inventory. Just thought that info might help someone. I'm still working on getting product liability (still working on quotes). Does anybody use the soapmaker's guild insurance? PJ
