Inducing Shot date VS due date

    Okay....do we use a 150 day date and then induce a few days before that? I assume I have to fiqure in the does past kidding history, meaning one doe has kidded closer to day 146 the last two years, so would I induce before that?? :crazy

    Really want to make sure I am here and also would like to try this whole daytime kidding thing!

    I never go by history as my does don't have any. :) I've induced every doe here for at least the past 10 years.

    I like to kid out the does on days 145-147. However, it depends on when the days fall as I freshen the does on the weekends by 1PM. :)

    LOL...same here. I don't have any histories on ANYONE. They've all been induced. I use the same days as Sara. 145 forward. Also if you're on test? you can't have a doe kid 10 days earlier than her 150 days from the service date, it will be considered an abortion. Just a small reminder.

    I'm inducing the girls to kid on day 146. That is how it plans out this year. :)
