I was trying to load a yearling, and had ahold of her by her horn. She was twisting away from me and all of the sudden her horn popped off. It started bleeding right away, and I put some "blue kote" on it, but I don't know what else to do for her. I was so shocked and stunned. Her previous home she was used to "goat tie" and they had clipped or sawed her horns and they grew back deformed. One looked normal (ish), and the other kind of laid back and to the side. That is the one that came off - there was a smaller horn like thing under it, maybe an inch high. I feel like a goat abuser, help!

spray with furall and keep it clean if there is a hole you might want to cover with guaze super glue it on so flys don't get in there. If continued bleeding maybe carterize with your disbudding iron.
