I know this isn't necessarily a dairy question...but how much should I feed my wether, what do I feed my wether, etc.

Should I feed him grass or alfalfa hay?? I know not to feed grain bc of urinary calculi, so is hay/pasture all? What minerals, if any should he have? And how much? I've read to put a Tablespoon (or teaspoon, can't remember...which one?) of apple cider vinegar in water, but idk if I should/have to...what do y'all suggest?
    Thanks in advance:)

Mixed hay, grass and alfalfa is best. He needs the same loose minerals all goats get, free choice. Ammonium chloride is an additive that is put in goat feed to reduce the chance for urinary calculi. If you need to give grain, to keep him at a good weight, make sure it has ammonium chloride and has 2 or 3 calcium for every 1 phosphorus. Apple cider vinegar just keeps the water clean, so they drink more of it, I don't bother because I clean the buckets every day.
