Has anyone heard of this kind of hay? I have looked it up and it is in the legume family but doesnt give any other info like protein % or calcium % but does say it compares to alfalfa. Alot of farmers have been selling it and I was wondering if it was worth a try. It is only a spring crop so when it is baled at first cutting that is it. I found some that is 100% hop clover for $4.00 a bale and sure hate to buy it and it not be worth anything. I have that clover in my field and the goats do seem to love it when it starts to dry up. Anyone know anything about this at all?
