    Hi all,

Last night went down to do chores, got all the milkers done and it was Macaela's turn, she is 9 years old this year. She wouldn't come in, so I go out and make her come in, well she wouldn't even sniff at her food, so I tried her favorite treat, she attempted to take a nibble and then nothing. I took her temp. 103.3 (it has been so hot these days) they were wormed on the July 30th. Her body didn't feel hot but her legs is what got me, they were cold not ice cube cold but noticeably cold all four of them from the knee down. I took a herdmates temp and it was 101.5 (a yearling doe that I shaved that morning).

Any clue as to what might be going on?

    Thanks

How is she milking? Down at all? How is she looking now? Could be the start of a bug, could be heat stress. Temp's a little high for my comfort. I don't know about the cold legs...

She came in to eat the next morning. I am guessing it is the heat b/c she sure is moving slow, she is dried off so no milking.

    THanks
