I need help picking a buck to breed my Toggenburgs to. One of the bucks is the sire of one of my does, so for her it will be between the other two bucks. Any help is appreciated!

My does:

Toggy:

Toggy was bred to Pineapple last time for Maybelle below.

Maybelle: (not registered yet)

She is out of the above doe and

"Pineapple" : http://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=T001348276

BUCKS:

IK Caprines Snowbuck Pineapple: http://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=T001348276

Well, I'm still new to this, so these are things I understand about them..

Toggy has poor feet, coarse shoulder, and she's kinda short, doesn't have the nice long neck and all. But she milked real well her first freshening, looks to have a really nice udder so far, not even bad to milk as an FF either, great topline, rump and hock angles and width. To me, her feet are the worst part of her.

Maybelle is much like her mom, but with much better feet and I think she'll be taller. Well, I have a picture of her right here from a couple months or so ago.

Got some ears, don't she? She looked like a little donkey when she was smaller. :D

Well....if the does belong to me, I'd go with Legendairy on both does.

1. Rowe Buck is not going to help your shoulders, length of body, nor rump angle and length.
But that's just me.

LOL...I owned the Kimmel's buck on the dam's side, and also bred this doe: THE TALKETNA CHIVAS DESERAE. She was the last doeling I bred before selling the herd years ago. She's still popping up in the immediate pedigree of does I'm seeing in Ark. and surrounding states. Really nice doe, but short.

:lol If you're concerned about the % inbred...don't do a genetics planned mating.

But, in my opinion that's the buck I'd use to improve, given the three choices.

Well, seeing as you are *slightly* more knowledgeable than me on this subject, I will probably go with your recommendation. ;)

He is their newest buck. The Rowe buck was there before but we liked the looks of pineapple at the time better. She also said he always beat the other buck when she showed them, and she had Pineapples dam there for me to see too.

I really appreciate the help. :D

Ashley,
I am going to go with Kaye on this one. We owned a Wavo daughter a couple of years back and though we don't remember much about her, his mother Wave, has some very nice daughters. If you go to the Legendairy/ Kara Kahl website here you can see a picture of her http://www.karakahlfarm.com/

Ashley, I would do whatever Kaye and Tim would advise. Kaye's breeding is mostly what is behind Toggy. I looked at this last night and hoped Kaye would speak up. I thought she would tell you the Rowe buck, because both lines go back to that Canyon Views Mary Maestro buck. Just shows you how much I know. But I'm still learning too, and put my trust in what she tells me. These guys know their Toggs and know what lines will improve faults for you.

I'm just glad they are unanimous :), I will breed them to the Legendairy buck, and I really like the looks of his dam. I really appreciate the help. :D
