Hello and a question...

    Janie If I can keep ahead of my self they will get all kefir but if not then it will be half/ half kefir sits out to make and can remain out for 24 or more hrs as it only gets stronger. as far as keeping it cool in the very hot days I will still use ice bottles and I never warm milk except the first few days.
    OH and the half milk half kefir will go ahead and ferment the milk so tis not a problem

    Just wanted to say how much I LOVE the free choice cold milk feeding. It's working out very well for me, and so much easier just to dump in the milk than fixing individual bottles! :biggrin The kids are doing very well on it.

    Well I never go with COLD milk but do room temp all the time.
