I have some Biomycin that has not expired yet, but when I drew it out, it is green! I know that oxidation causes color change in meds, but is it ok to still use it? It has not been refrigerated (per label instructions) but the location where I keep it is kind of bright (but not warm). There is nothing floating in it, but around the rim of the container (inside) appear to be solids (in green). I decided to just buy a new container, but wanted to know what any of you would have done.
My Biomycin sometimes turns dark with age, and that's OK to use. I've never had any turn green. If mine did, I'd probably replace it just to be on the safe side. Kathie
