I have bought 2 different cameras & just am not getting the signal well enough in my bedroom- too many walls, trees & metal, I guess.

My latest attempt is this camera which has an internet server

Since I can do the internet from out there with my laptop, I'm assuming it'll broadcast just fine from there too....& I'll be able to watch my goats from work ( which'll hopefully save me lots of rushed trips home at lunchtime :) )

is your barn secure enough for you to feel safe leaving your laptop out in the barn? I would be terrified and I live in the boonies (sort of).

Hi Melissa
I wouldn't be leaving the laptop out there, just the camera...the camera has a built in server so will connect to my wireless internet connection. I just took the laptop out there to be certain it could see the internet from there :).

I actually do feel safe leaving anything outside- they Pyrs are quite good at keeping people off the property :)
