I HAVE A GOAT CURRENTLY IN MILK THIS IS HER FIRST, SHE ONLY HAD ONE AND BOTH ARE DOING GREAT. SHE IS A LaNUBIAN CROSS. SHE ISNT REALLY PRODUCING MUCH MILK. PLENTY FOR THE LITTLE GUY BUT OUTSIDE OF THAT WE ARE ONLY GETTING ABOUT NINE OZ OF A MORNING WHEN WE MILK HER. WE HAVE CHANGED FEED AND ADDED SOME MUCH NEEDED NUTRIENTS. WILL THIS GET BETTER OVER TIME? IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP HER PRODUCE MORE?

Hi! so I’m tryna decide how to explain this to you. Some goats naturally just don’t produce as much as some goats, with proper feed and hay or whtever u feed and time, there udder can produce more over the years. but has to contain enough proteins, minerals, vitamins, to support production, and that can be balanced with a high quality hay. Overall just a very balanced diet. and yes ur goat should gradually maybe produce a little more the next time she kids as i know some of my goats have. but otherwise there isn’t much u can do.
