Okay, I don't know anything about copper. Just know goats need it and can have more than sheep.

I have never given my girls copper, don't know how to, and don't know if they need it. In my searching around, ran across this article. If you have time, please go there and read and tell me what you think?

    Thanks

In all honesty...I don't want to dose my goats with copper sulfate.

Read the above studies and especially the "HOW THE COPPER BOLUSES WORK ".

I think this will cover a lot more than the site you gave.

That same u-say ranch site has a page on bolusing - and that is actually how they do it. ...so they must not feel great about the sulfate either.

That site is how we learned to make up the boluses - very good instructions, if you need them.
