I have been getting it from walmart . I check with the bakery supply house that I am now getting my lard and sunflower from and they can get coconut oil but it is in liquid form. Will it still work the same in my recipe ? Why is it liquid ? And they said it said something about "red" they are trying to figure that out also. Patty
It must be fractionated coconut oil, or they have keep it in a warm room Coconut oil that is the 76 degree turns to liquid in 76 degrees or warmer.. You can soap with fractionated coconut oil, but it has different sap value than the solids .. I have never made a soap with just fractionated coconut and other liquid soaps.. You could give it a try... Barbara
I was hoping someone would have tried it because I have to buy 25lbs of it from them ! Thanks , Patty
