Hi everyone! You were all so helpful with questions I had in the past I was hoping for a little more advice.. Still new to all this..

I have a boer goat in milk that has never been tested for anything but she is producing a ton of milk. She looks and acts very healthy, has no symptoms of anything. My question is if I pasturize her milk will it be safe to feed to my new Nubian kid who has tested negative for all the common diseases?

The kid is drinking a gallon every 2 days so if I could use some from the doe I already have instead of paying $10/ gal I would be really happy!

Thank you for any input!

Thank you for all your help and advice, just wanted to add an update! My wonderful boyfriend made me a milking stand and my boer doe is doing wonderful now! She produces a little more than enough to feed the kid so now my fridge is over flowing with mason jars full of milk marked "clean" and "dirty" ( the clean milk is pasteurized and ready to be fed) better to have too much than too little! Even though I now have to get up at 5:30 to milk the doe and feed the kid ( plus feeding the rest of my 30 or so farm animals) it is totally worth it for the new experience I am getting and I'm saving soo much money not having to buy goats milk! So thank you all so much! Here are my Nubian kids, they say Thanx too!

Yes I am looking into getting them all tested. I just dont know which lab to send it to at biotracking, I think the closest one is Colorado? I'm waiting for the holiday to pass so I can just call them.
