Anyone else having a heavy buck year?
I know the Carlsons are. And we are. Maybe it's the water in Field Store??

We had two sets of twins today - 3 bucks, 1 doe.
Last birth was triplet bucks.

After 4 births we're averaging 2:1 bucks so far.

I had 8 kids out of 3 does. 4 bucklings, 4 doelings. It's a good year!

There that ought to offset the others talking about a buck year. ;)

Yeah---we're on a well, too - but maybe our groundwater has had testosterone leach through from all of those very manly demolition derbies we have here in town! :)

Nice to see others sharing in our misery of buck kid after buck kid!
so far: 9 buck kids
4 doe kids
Unfortunately we had WAY more reserves for doe kids out of our herd than bucks so hopefully things will change. :sigh
