I am trying to update my goat meds notebook and I need to know the dose for Bio-Mycin. When I searched here I saw a few different doses: 3.5cc per 100lbs, 6cc per 100lbs and 3cc per 100lbs every 12 hours. Course the bottle says 4.5 cc per 100 lbs so I am inclined to think it should be a higher dose than what is stated for cattle. :help
The cattle dose is the same as LA-200...a single dose of 4.5cc/100# or that dose again in 48hrs. It's dosed to goats at 3cc/100 once a day for 4-5 days.(unless used for some specific causes longer) Also be prepared for knots. Reason I give it at the bottom of the rib cage near the last rib. To give room for swelling without affecting motion. Kaye
