Can you girls help me with the color description on this doeling? That is a tanish color on her body, black and white.

These are the suggestions I have heard.

    Belted Chamoisee
    Broken Chamoisee
    Belted Chamoisee with Black markings
    Broken Chamoisee with Black trim
Two toned Chamoisee with black trim

I guess they all sort of apply. I think that Becky had a doe that looked similar to this on her business card that was posted on this forum a couple weeks ago.

Is the one I have for sale in the For Sale section (her sister) a chamoisee with a white splash and black trim?

I told you I was going to have trouble trying to figure these colors out on these flashy little darlins' :lol

Good grief... I'm glad I have Nubians. :p

  8. She is broken cahmoisee, with a belt. I like to get fairly descriptive , I don't just saybroken, I describe markings.
    I would say,
"Belted chamoisee with white splash on right rear leg, poll, and pasterns."

I'd have called her a belted chamoisee too. I'm sure broken would be acceptable too. Becky, you are WAY more ambitious than I am! I don't go into all that much detail....heck, usually they've managed to change color by the time they're a year old anyhow, lol.
