I recently bought a 3 year old Mini Nubian and her sidekick (not daughter) an 8.5 month old full Nubian doeling. The 3 year old was exposed and suspected to be bred, but no guarantees. I had a vet out and ultrasound showed she is open. I have been looking for a nubian or ND buck and have found both that I can rent nearby. My question is, do mini nubians cycle year round and if I put the buck in with both of them is the younger girl too young/small to be bred. I am not sure of her weight. She just looks small to me, but I am new to Nubians. I hate to separate them since they are both so new and bonded to each other, but I don't want trouble for the younger one either.
