I am unsure about mini lamancha .. I just got my daughter's Lamancha doe bred to beautiful Nigerian Dwarf buck. So the babies will be 1 generation mini lamancha. I am trying to figure out how should I sell those mini lamancha for ?? Since the baby or babies will be 1st gen. See I have no clue how that works.. And My daughter's lamancha is ADGA registered and the ND buck is AGS but I think they are going to registered him thru ADGA but I am not sure.. I am trying to see how can I registered these babies thru what?? I know it is a lot of questions. It is new to me about mini lamanchas. I am not going to keep those babies anyways because I have no use for minis. Maybe I will change my mind. And the reason why I have to use Nigerain Dwarf to breed her because there is NO lamancha buck close to my home. BUT dont worry because we ALREADY paid the deposit for a lamancha buck for 2013 and we are purchasing from Mint Leaf. We are excitied about it!! Thanks for your input.

Register the babies with IDGR, TMGR and/or MDGA. If you don't want to join one of them, you'll have to ask if you need to get a herd name or if they can use your ADGA herd name. Price them according to their quality and the quality of your breeding stock. Being first generation does not make them less valuable. Bucks may be harder to sell, but aren't they always. I sold most of my bucks as bottle babies this year for cheap.

We just put my friend's Nigerian doe in with a beautiful La Mancha buckling today. Cross your fingers for doelings. Topaz has been bred to full size bucks for several years with no problems kidding. When bred Nubian or Alpine, she's always had a doeling. This year, she had twin minimancha bucklings. I want a doeling. They are very cute.

Mini Lamanchas are about the cutest baby goats there is, I think! My husband would disagree though, lol! I love my mini alpines though.

LOL. Thanks. I bred her to a Homozygous buck for Blue Eyes. PLUS he does have good milky bloodline in him. Which it is a good plus. So we will see..
