Have a Nigerian Dwarf that freshened today. One teat is very workable. The other has two knots and no milk coming out. The teat feels squishy like wet sand. Any suggestions??

More info needed. Has she freshened before? If so, the teat was fine? Could the lumps be calcium deposits? If so just have work them down and out. Not always easy I know. Any heat to the udder? Tried hot compresses? She might not be letting down.

Third freshening. Teat has always been fine. Heavy Milker. Teat warm but not hot. Tonight I got some grainy stuff out of teat. I am very concerned. Calling vet in morning.

I had a nubian that always got calcium deposits at the next freshening. Sucked getting them out. Thankfully my nds don't get them. (Crossing fingers)
