    Its it warmer than normal or hot? Hard or soft?If it doesn't feel like a normal udder in temp
    or softness I would consult with a vet. They can, in rare cases, develop mastitis before
    freshening.

    When I mix my chlorhexidine spray I use 1c, 3 c water, 3T glycerin.I would caution against
    using any salves as they will just cause dirt and debris to stick to the udder.

    Personally, I don't feed corn as it doesn't contribute much to a feed program. I have fed boss,
    black oil sunflower, in the past but not this year. It "can" upset the calcium phosphorus

    I have not used this protocol but it has been talked about in the past. Try doing a search for
