Here organic pasturized cow milk is 5.00 a gallon but regular milk at Costco is less than 2.00 a gallon but it comes in a 2 or 3 pak. I don't know how they produce it for that and then have Costco make a profit also. Nuts.

You know, the Feds have relaxed the organic standards so much that organic isn't organic anymore. True organic milk is much more than $5.00 a gallon. Horizon Milk here is $6.75 in the store.

They call it substidies... a lot of dairymen I know can get very long-winded about whether they are good or bad...but they keep milk 'cheap' for the consumer. They also make many dairymen HATE raw milk and the value added markets.
