my hubbie usually does chores and I go out everyday and do a through once over every other day.  Well today I notice emma's udder had a scab on it and a smaller area beside it that may have been a sore also.  Her udder has been pretty hairy and this is the side that is towards the leg.   She is 4 weeks out from kidding, had her lysigin and was wormed with Iver+ orally 2 weeks ago and it due for booster in 2 weeks.  It is not that big I put my finger beside as close to the udder as possible (she will be hobbled once she kids) to show size her udder is soming in a bit lopsided but is really just filling up the udder has no heat in it. Any ideas it is definitely on the mend but wasnt to make sure that all is well Just In Case.  Barn was completely cleaned 3 weeks ago from winter deep litter method 3 weeks ago there has not really any wet spots just getting too deep from turning and adding straw.

The guy we hired to help clean out barns may not have put the DE in the bedding like we usually do, not to help with bugs so much but it keeps it drier, Not wet ( I got down on my knees) or smelly but going to add DE and turn Just in case that is the problem.
